At a young age, my first vocal performances were at church.
Once exposed to heavy metal, I fell in love with that style and decided to direct my energy towards cultivating that style of vocals. I ended up in and out of many different band projects. One in particular was a hard rock band that played heavily in the party circuit in Spokane, WA. Along that journey I had the privilege of working with MILES KENNEDY of ALTER BRIDGE, who helped produce that band's demo.
I soon moved back out to Western Washington to pursue other musical opportunities. Discouraged after over a year of searching for the right band, I placed an ad at Guitar Center. Within a week, recieved a call from some guy named "Clif" looking for a singer.
After meeting Clif and the band, I knew that I absolutely wanted to work with these guys. Fortunately they liked my voice and felt that I would fit right in with their music. We then became DREAD EFFECT.
